Anushree Reddy the LFW 2016 winter festive saga with colors vibrant and bright, making the would-be brides stand up and cheer her till eternity. And rightly so, the designer was praised for the feminine touches on each of her pieces she brought forth.
His signature statements and style never go out of vogue and can never bore the mind of any would-be bride, which is why the delhi based ace designer needs a mentioning here. With a Bollywood celeb as a showstopper, Suneet Varma flaunted his creations in metallic hues and crimsons on lehengas, amalgamating the rich traditions of the nation with a modern twist.
Anamika Khanna set the mood into a world of fantasy, conventional that too, and she did a daring act of bidding adieu the traditional bridal designs and styles playing with textures and concepts quite bold for the new-age bride. ‘Sculpt’ was her inspiration, and she took the effort to work on it to inspire us too! Hats off!
Payal it seems was rocked with a bohemian fantasy in her mind while curating these chic lehengas she flaunted at LFW 2016. Bohemian to the core with a wilderness touch, Payal catered to the unconventional whims and fashion fancies of the new-age bride that didn’t want the norm. Low cut necks, plundering shimmery touches, neutral tones played with, intricate wilderness and more on each ensemble- need we say more?
Mint greens greeted the eyes of one and all across the LFW event, and thanks to Ridhi Mehra, mirror worked mint green lehengas became a trend for the new-age PYTs to dream off and think about for their weddings. Anything but red is what you want to wear on D-Day, and you have an answer now! At the LFW show, Ridhi Mehra’s ‘A Mirror Affaire’ collection was a stopper of sorts one couldn’t ignore!
Soumitra Mondal played it large and grand, and this made everyone sit upright and watch his creations flow on the ramps at the LFW. If there is one person that dared to redefine bridal wear for Indian weddings, it was Soumitra that held the flag high on this accord! ‘Woven Royalty’ brought in a lot of critics to talk about the designer, but one thing that hit the mark for sure, were the play of solid hues on each piece!
